The Second Annual!

Raffle:
Want to buy extra raffle tickets, or split a pack with a friend?
$10 per ticket
$40 for 5 tickets
(You need to be present to win!).
The Routes:
We’ll have a Long route and a Short route and both will pass by a fully-stocked rest stop. Both rides finish at Sports Basement - Presidio for lunch and a presentation from Ben on TBIs and mental health. Note: these are not “no drop rides.” We encourage you to ride with a friend - either old or new!- but the rides will not regroup for everyone.
Routes: After departing Ornot, we'll cross the Bridge, turn towards Camino Alto and enjoy Ben's personal favorite dirt road: Southern Marin Line. There are some STEEEP short climbs, but bear with me, it is so worth it. From there, we drop into Larkspur for our rest stop. Fed and watered, both routes meander back towards the city. The Short Route will head into Tennessee Valley for a trip up Old Springs and down Miwok. The Longer Route will head over to Muir Beach and up Green Gulch before dropping into Tennessee Valley. If you want even more climbing, you can climb into Tennessee Valley for a headlands romp home. Most of us will take the road through Sausalito back to the city for our lunch and hang at Sports Basement - Presidio. Download the routes -> Short - Long
Gear:
Dirt: This is a mixed-surface, dirt-focused ride with changing conditions and loose trails. 38c (or larger) dirt capable tires are highly recommended.
Riders must be self-sufficient with the ability to fix flats and mechanical issues (or make sure your friends can).
Two Water Bottles.
Helmets are mandatory (duh).
Bring clothes for many types of weather, it is SF after all.
What to expect:
As we all know, the riding around here is STEEEEEP. We'll keep the pace steady, not racey. This is a social ride, but that said, this ride may spread out and we will not be regrouping regularly, so please ride with a buddy and make sure you have your route downloaded on your phone or computer. We will have ride leaders on both rides with sweepers if there are any issues. There will be a mid-ride rest stop with snacks part way through, and both rides end at Sports Basement- Presidio for lunch.
